Terms and Conditions

Mrs Stovy Art & Decor Paintings: 

  • When a client orders any custom artwork, the client must acknowledge it is up to the artist’s interpretation for final product.

  • It will be in the style the artist and the client, but, as there are variations to the creative process, the client should expect a unique piece of artwork. Each piece of artwork that is commissioned by Mrs Stovy Art & Decor is one of a kind. Images of the completed artwork will be sent to client for approval prior to shipping or pick up 

  • Prices vary based on canvas type, size, quality.

  • Change orders will require an additional cost to final invoices.

  • The commissioned artwork will be sold unframed. If client wants the artwork framed that will add an additional cost to the total agreed upon price. Prices of frames vary depending on size of artwork and frame itself. 

  • Final payment is due before artwork can be collected.

  • All deposits are non-refundable.

  • The client’s ownership of physical artwork does not transfer ownership to the artwork’s copyright.

  • Once the artwork is delivered to the client that forfeits any changes rendered. Changes to the artwork, if applicable, must be done before delivery date.

  • The artist has the right to use photos of client’s artwork to showcase work. This includes the right to display artwork on artist’s website or any social media platform.

  • The total cost of the commissioned artwork is agreed upon between artist and client prior to start of commission. The client will make an initial payment of 25% the day client selects canvas. The remaining balance plus sales tax will be due when artwork is completed and before delivery.

  • If client wishes to have a consult about design process, there will be an additional charge. A 25% deposit is required to schedule a meeting.

  • Shipping is an additional charge.  An estimated cost for shipping will be given to client at time of inquiry.

  • A storage fee of 20 dollars will be applied if client has not collected artwork or if shipping charges have not been paid within 14 days of invoice. The storage fee will have to be paid prior to receiving artwork.

  • Rush orders can be provided with an additional charge. (Rush orders are anything with 2-4 weeks.)

  • Mrs Stovy Art & Decor is not liable for loss or damages once the artwork has been delivered.

  • If in the event the client is not happy with artwork once it has been received, the original painting can be returned for a refund which does not include the non-refundable deposit. Refunds will be refunded upon receipt of the painting being returned to artist in the same condition it was shipped in. RETURN SHIPPING IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE BUYER.

  • Mrs Stovy Art & Decor is not responsible for orders that have been lost or stolen once delivery has been verified and confirmed through shipping carrier.

  • Delivery options are available and will be an additional charge based on location. (Delivery will only be provided in Dallas and surrounding areas.)

  • Invoices will be emailed after client and artist come to agreement on design process. Invoice will be emailed to client and 25% non-refundable payment needs to be rendered within 24 hours to reserve a canvas.

  • When inquiring about a custom piece of art you agree to terms and conditions as a binding contract for artwork.
